Danish dressage athlete
Join riders Anna Kasprzak and Maja Petersen behind the scenes at the Catago Equestrian 2018 collection photoshoot at Kasprzak’s dressage yard, Haderslev, Denmark.
Shooting the exciting 2018 Catago Equestrian styles for horse and rider proved to be a day of creativity and unbridled fun. We caught up with Maja Petersen for a talk on how it felt to be model for a day, “I had a blast, seriously, the shoot was soo much fun,” Petersen exclaims. “The location was simply stunning. To experience the elegant setting and to meet Anna’s staff of super-grooms, was an experience in it’s own right, says Petersen.
The shoot took a full day, working with a photographer and an assistant as well as a stylist and of course the dedicated Catago Equestrian team, “having a stylist to do your make-up and hair was quite an experience. It genuinely took me by surprise how many changes of clothes was needed, but also how smooth it all went getting the many pictures shot.” Says Petersen, “at first I felt slightly awkward, being the centre of attention, posing for the camera and taking instructions from the photographer, but everyone was super professional and it soon felt quite natural - it was loads of fun, and something I would definitely do again if I get the chance.”
According to Petersen quite a lot of fab styles can be expected from the up-coming collection, “Needless to say, it was super exciting getting an exclusive look on the 2018 styles, especially a fab fleece jacket caught my eye, it’s a must-have, I simply can’t wait to get my hands on. I don’t want to reveal too much - but I do think I can safely say there’s also some very super cool looking breeches to be released.”
